Needs a girlfriend

The picture mostly focuses around the person sitting on the ground playing a DS. The background is completely blank. There are no other people or animals to distract from what he is doing. I think the work is figurative because there is nothing unnatural to this. Its very basic.

I like the shading of the frontal portion of his body and how everything else is light. I like the different tones the grass on the hill has. It shows some depth and a sense of area.

This photo was taken out doors. I like how its bright in some places, so it shows what he is missing outside of his game. Its a little too light on some spots so it distracts from the shading parts.

 I tried to have the feel of loneliness and sadness. Because he is alone and no one is even around him. Overall I think it mostly captured what I was going for. But it could always be better.
